My child hasn’t played in a team before, would you have a place for him/her?

Giffnock SC is all-inclusive and welcomes players of all abilities. Our Saturday Academy is the first step in a players development to playing in a team.

At Giffnock Soccer Centre we pride ourselves on coaching EVERY PLAYER who comes to us. For boys and girls who are not in one of our many teams we run the Giffnock SC Academy every Saturday morning between 08:45am and 2.45pm at Eastwood Park, Rouken Glen Road, across from St Ninians High School the Astro home pitch of Giffnock SC.

Giffnock SC Academy is staffed by a team of coaches who provide boys and girls of all ability the opportunity to train and develop before trialling for the teams at their age group.

How do I join?

If you would like to join our Academy Community Programme (Age 3-S4, Girls or Ability Sections) please drop an e-mail to our Operations Officer quoting your Name, Year of Birth and Contact Details.

What ages can attend the Soccer Academy?

We currently run from Age 3 To S4. Our Mini Kickers class are guaranteed a place in the Academy at P1.

What is the cost?

Giffnock SC  current fees are £15 per month for Mini Kickers and £20 per month for P1 to P7, Girls Jane Ross and our Super 7s classes.  Sibling discount of 20% available too.  Cost includes a kit of top, shorts and socks.

Times of class below:

Mini Kickers – 8.45am until 9.45pm

P1  – 9.45am until 10.45am

P2 – 10.45am until 11.45am

P3/Jane Ross Girls Class – 11.45am until 12.45pm

P4/P5/P6  – 12.45pm until 1.45pm

Super 7s (S1 to S4) – 1.45pm until 2.45pm


How are the fees used?

All fees cover all football related activities and the running of the club however, some age groups may collect money for additional team expenses.

How do I volunteer?

The club welcomes and needs new volunteers to help and coach. You can contact us via giffnockscadm@giffnocksoccercentre.com

How do I know if a session is on?

Soccer Academy
Updates are emailed to all the parents of the Academy and also posted on our Facebook and Twitter accounts especially if there are any last minute changes to venues or times.

All updates should be provided directly by the respective coaches. [/expand]
